An exciting opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within K-12 schools located in Boulder City, NV. This contract position covers the current school year with assignments varying by location, caseload, and student age group. Candidates should be prepared to work full-time, though part-time options may be offered depending on the assignment. This role requires onsite presence exclusively, with no virtual or hybrid options available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs and progress.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Participate actively in team meetings to ensure coordinated care and effective communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Department of Education certification.
- Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with a range of K-12 students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to be onsite full-time, with flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and assignments.
